Texas Woman Charged with Defrauding SSA

The daughter of a man implicated in the deaths of three people, will be held without bond, like her father and her stepmother.
Nadia Irsan, 30, is charged in federal court with defrauding the Social Security Administration.
Nadia Irsan, her father and stepmother, illegally obtained at least $50,000 a year in federal benefits they were not entitled to according to a special agent with the Social Security Administration.
“Your lies are endless,” U.S. Magistrate Judge Nancy Johnson told Nadia Irsan in denying her chance to leave federal custody on Wednesday.
During the brief probable cause hearing, SSA Special Agent Gary Dickens, revealed odd new tidbits of the investigation.
Perhaps most shocking, is that according to Dickens, Nadia Irsan sent unsolicited nude photos of herself to the boyfriend of murder victim Gelareh Bagherzadeh.
Nadia Irsan has not been implicated in the death of Bagherzadeh, but her father will be charged with the student’s January 2012 death, according to court documents.
On the stand, Dickens also related a story about how Nadia Irsan and her stepmother, Shmou Ali Alrawabdeh, held another sister captive because she was involved with a man the family did not approve of.
That daughter later obtained a protective order against her own father, Ali Irsan.
That Daughter’’s husband, Cody Beavers, was murdered in November 2012.
Irsan is also a suspect in Beavers’ shooting death.
