Former Louisiana Pastor Pleads Guilty to Social Security Fraud and Theft of Government Property

The former Lake Arthur pastor who was taken to court by his own congregants in 2011 pled guilty this week to Social Security fraud and theft of government property.

Special Agent Mark Barnes, an investigator with the Social Security Administration (SSA) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) in Baton Rouge, said Henry L. Comeaux appeared in U.S. District Court in Lafayette Wednesday, July 17, where he pled guilty to fraud in the amount of $47,423.70.
