The Social Security Administration’s Agency-Wide Support Services Contract with Lockheed Martin
In November 2004, SSA signed an Agency-wide Support Services Contract with Lockheed Martin. SSA used the contract to supplement existing staff with individuals who had the specialized technical skills to help SSA achieve its strategic goals. The contract supplied SSA with 600 to 800 programmers and information technology specialists.
