Office of Investigations - Headquarters Operations

The Office of Headquarters Operations is comprised of four divisions.  

 The Investigative Support Division is comprised of two teams. The Investigative Operations Team and the Policy Compliance Team provide investigative and policy support to the Field Divisions on various matters.   

The Digital Forensics and Analysis Division is comprised of two teams. The Digital Forensics Unit and the Intelligence and Analysis Unit provide subject matter expertise for digital forensics and specialized investigative and analytical support.  

 The Administrative and Training Division manages processes associated with training and general administrative matters. The Division also coordinates with the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and the Inspector General Criminal Investigator Academy.  

 The Allegation Management and Fugitive Enforcement Division handles the intake and initial processing of allegations from the public. The office leads the fugitive felon enforcement efforts. The Division oversees the OIG Hotline which allows taxpayers to report fraud or suspicious activity related to Social Security account information or payments.
