New Hampshire Realtor Concealed Work Activity

A New Hampshire realtor applied for Title II disability benefits and failed to report that she returned to work as a realtor a year after applying for disability benefits.  The subject owned a successful real estate brokerage company while simultaneously collecting Title II benefits.  Although the subject had numerous opportunities to report her work activity, she withheld the information for 42 months.  OCIG negotiated a settlement with the subject resulting in a penalty of $5,000 and a $67,585 assessment, for a total recovery of $72,585.
