The Recovery Act was signed into law on February 17, 2009. Recipients of Recovery Act funds directly from a Federal agency are required to submit a report to FederalReporting.gov not later than 10 days after the end of each calendar quarter. The objective of this audit was to verify the number of jobs reported as created or retained by contractors who provided the Social Security Administration (SSA) goods and/or services funded with American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act) dollars in Fiscal Year 2011 for the quarters ended December 31, 2010, March 31, 2011, June 30, 2011, and September 30, 2011.
