We issued this report to review the status of the 24 administrative law judges (ALJ) we discussed in our February 2012 Congressional Response Report in terms of allowance rates and productivity. We also identified the ALJs who had the highest and lowest allowance rates in Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 and described the Agency’s process for monitoring these ALJs.

From the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Vermont:

The United States Attorney for the District of Vermont announced that Connie Forrest, 56, of Pittsford, pleaded guilty today in United States District Court in Burlington to a charge of Social Security fraud. Chief U.S. District Judge Christina Reiss released Forrest on conditions pending sentencing, which has been scheduled for October 20.
